Our current police officers are PC Paul Austin, and PCSO Jill Reid. They cover the southern parishes including Bickerstaffe. They can be contacted on 01695 424000.
There are several PCSOs also.
Rarely does a police representative have time to attend the Parish Council Meetings to give a crime report any more due to limited resources, but a representative from Lancs Constabulary usually attends the West Lancs Parish Clerks’ Liaison Committees with updates which can be passed onto the residents.
If you have any concerns of a non-urgent nature, they can be reported to the police by ringing 101, or by going to : Bickerstaffe Area Police and emailing details on the “Report a Crime” section, or email CJ.NPT@lancashire.pnn.police.
